Information for the Tenant If you are looking for living accommodation in the
area The Hague – Wassenaar – Leiden,
REH can save you a lot of time and trouble. A registration at REH as a tenant is easy. You can
register without any costs and obligations (please fill in the registration form). We will then contact you to discuss your dwelling desires. As long
as you are registered, we will keep you updated regarding the properties that
meet your requirements. You can find our terms & conditions here. Making an appointment for a visitation As soon as we have found an accommodation that fits
your needs, you can make an appointment for a visitation. Usually, you are
then accompanied by one of our staff who will be able to answer your
questions or, if required, will mediate with the lessor. Prior to drawing up
the contract, your information will be submitted to the lessor who will have
the final decision. Our fees If a rental contract is established by means of REH
with a duration of:
A maximum of 6
months without the contractual possibility of an extension, you will be
charged with an amount equal to half a monthly rent (including possible
service costs and increased with VAT).
Less than 6
months but with the contractual possibility of an extension, you will
initially be charged with an amount equal to half a monthly rent (including
possible service costs and increased with VAT). If you decide to use the
contractual extension, the same amount will be charged to you again.
More than 6
months, you will be charged a one-time fee equal to a month rent (including
possible service costs and increased with VAT). As long as there is no contract established, you do not have to pay
for the services of REH. Requirements If you want to apply for an accommodation via REH,
you must have a regular income. For private candidates, REH will have to be
given a (copy of) an ID and a recent paycheque or contract. The keys will be handed to the tenant after signing
of the contract and after the following payments have been made:
First month
rent or remaining part of it;
The deposit;
REH’s fee for mediation. |
